10X Genomics Chromium iX

The GSC does not stock any of the 10X Genomics Chromium iX consumables.

The user will need to contact the GSC prior to use of the 10X Genomics system so we have suitable time to order the appropriate quantity of required reagents for the experiment.

Users can also purchase single cell consumables directly from 10X Genomics.

Users are required to provide at least 10-20ul of dissociated cells at a concentration of 700-1200 cells/uL.

Users are required to count and dilute their cells to ensure they are at the appropriate concentration and viability.

The cell suspension is typically stable for ~1 hour on ice.

The 10X Genomics Chromium iX system is available for user operation after initial training.

Users must reserve the day they wish to use the 10X Chromium iX by emailing the GSC staff at gsc@ku.edu.

Please email us at gsc@ku.edu for training or to reserve a day to drop off samples for single cell library preparation.
